How to claim your first spot on TopBidder
From URL to rank in under a minute: the mechanics of bidding, claiming, and earning, step by step.
Claiming a spot takes about a minute. Here is exactly what happens.
1. Enter your URL or @handle. Your product's domain or your X handle. The exact string you enter is your identity on the board — it is what counts, not your logo or name.
2. Fill the card. TopBidder pulls your logo and description from the public web automatically. If anything looks wrong, the card lets you fix the name and write your own one-liner before you pay. What you see on the card is what the board shows.
3. Pick your price. New spots start at $5. The live preview shows the rank your price takes right now — drag the number and watch your position move. Paying less than #1 does not mean losing: your bid lands you at the best rank it can buy.
4. Connect your wallet and pay. Bids are paid in USDC on-chain. If your wallet is on another network, it will prompt you to switch before anything moves — and if you decline, nothing is charged. The payment is verified against the chain before your rank is granted; no trust required.
5. Hold and earn. Your spot accrues earnings from the prize pool while it stays ranked. Reach $25 in accrued earnings and the treasury settles it to your wallet in USDC.
Already listed? Enter the same URL or @handle and your new payment ups your bid — you climb, and your spot keeps its history. A $0 listing with no owner? Bid on it — your first bid makes it yours, and the next bidder has to outbid you to take it.
That is the whole loop: URL, card, price, wallet, earn. The board is honest because the mechanics are visible — every rank shows what it cost, every click is counted, every payout settles on-chain.
